I have the same sv650 sport, 2007, £3000, was the magic number, when i was enquiring yesterday, at 2 dealers, I was told the first 12 months you take a BIG HIT, Hence losing £1500,

after this the depriation slows down.

I was offered £2800 on a trade in on a 2008 z750, which is over £5k,

so in relation to that, you were offered a good deal.............still sucks though........i will probably go down the nearly new road next time......let someone else take the hit.
