Yeah a van to the campsite is great ideal for reasons said, just think a sweeper van is too much to ask someone to miss out on the ride.
Date sounds fine. I'm hoping to get the North South to be on May Bank Holiday so that can cater to people who do want to ride on a BH, but it's a struggle so you're right to avoid it.
