many years ago as a student I used to love candles...as student arty types do. I had one burning on my bedside table. I'd been in the shower and had wet hair. I couldn't find a hairbrush so went to turn the lamp on which was placed next to the candle.





Only I forgot to blow out the candle first, and my hair fell onto said lit candle.......

there was a distinct singed smell in the air. I don't use candles in the boudoir any longer!!!!
