Let me put it another way. The chances are very high that the riot van will not pull you as opposed to a marked T5!
I don't mean tear past at 100mph hoiking a wheelie but certainly I filter past paddies over zig zags (well, I refuse to sit in stationary traffic) and I've never been pulled yet. You takes your chances.
