I took a day to do my engine swap but that was the 1st major thing i'd ever had tro do and it was in the middle of November and i had to keep stopping for cups of tea to get the feeling back into my fingers

That's where my leak was, the gasket was knackered and the casing was warped, cost me just over ?50 for a new casing and gasket

No unfortunately it doesn't i ran mine dry enough for the crankshaft to seize and the light hadn't come on at all
