I have a Curvy SV750 which runs perfectly well with the standard hoses, surely they are only for cosmetic reasons (i.e. change of colour)?

I can understand/accept that some would change to these as a cosmetic upgrade, but I think it should be mentioned that there is no performance increase to be had with these coolant hoses!
