so i was meant to spend the week end stripping down the bike a generally chaving it up,
so 1st things 1st remove the old crappy tank pad (yeah you guessed it
) so i get the heat gun and peeled off the pad itself, then got rid of the glue, then another clear film layer
, but now I've got that off there is a solid glue outline of the old pad. some of it I've managed to get off with a credit card but i cant get the rest off, I've tried white spirit, t-cut and reluctantly thinners! and the crap still wont come off
anyone else know what i can try, it was a technosel (spelling) pad and looks as thought it's been on there since the bike was new.
