The problem with booking a flight to outer mongolia is that you'll need to apply for a tourist visa beforehand. The Mongolian Embassy is in London & it'll cost you £35. This visa will be valid for 30 days only.

You could apply for a business/worknig visa for an extended duration but you'll also need to take an HIV test.

Now if you were a US citizen you could get a 60 day tourist visa at the border crossing/Ulan Bator airport. The yanks have it easy.
