I would recommend you to contact Spanner Man, he'll sort you out.
In theory, you don't need to replace the sprockets every time you put a new chain on, but old ones will wear the new chain quicker.
I've put on a Scottoiler, I was annoyed with in in the beginning, but once you get used to using it (to set it correctly) you'll be happy
