If you want some info on decent roads to ride whilst your over here let me know...should be able to work out some decent routes with nice places to see and stay at each end..
Skerries is a great weekend - met a chap recently in the IOM who said it was his favourite race event - and he lives in road racings Mecca!!
I would probably bring originals of your documents. Chances of being stopped are pretty slim TBH, but its best to have originals all the same. There's no issue with loud cans over here and tinted visors are ok as well.
One thing to watch for is the atrocious driving. Cagers here are even less aware than in the UK.
Oh, yeah - and bring yer wet gear
