that is very worrying. every job in any workshop should be inspected by a responsible person, supervisor. sounds like a breakdown in policy.
you'll soon find out if their a reputable company when you go back and discover how they deal with your complaint. i'm one for giving people the benefit of the doubt, but only once mind.
