Re: Aaaaaaarrrgghhhh JHS Racing in Bristol
Everybody forgets to tighten something up once in a while. Sounds like you were just unlucky that it was your something.
Expalin nicely about it, don't go in there ranting and raving/demanding refunds or you'll just be shown the door.
As you've left their premisis, as far as they're concerned its nothing to do with them now, so if you're polite it might make them more willing to offer some kind of apology.
Crap!
This isn't a bit of damage they may have caused... this was incompetance noticed on the journey immediately following the work.
Don't be complacent, if this caused your front wheel to lock, or you were unable to brake when necessary, this could have easily killed you - no problem.
As Davido says, be calm, explain the problem and don't let them take its seriousness lightly. It is a very significant failure in process and their professional ability - you paid money for this work to be done. Go straight to a manager or supervisor - back your complaint up in writing.
I only know JHS through their website, I've never used them, so I can't make any further comment. But it goes without saying that the above would apply to any outfit - reputation good or bad.
