Hmmm, well, it's not really a chain grease as such according to here

Having said that it's not actually harmful, but I suspect you'll find it won't stay put for long and your rear wheel will get pretty messy.

The main issue will be that it won't get into between the pins and rollers, which is one of the main areas needing lubing.

Really you want either a proper chain lube, (Wurth, Castrol Chain Wax, PJ1 or similar stuff, usually aerosol) or fit a chain oiler of some description - search on "Scottoiler".
