They reckon that with IAM, particularly for younger/less experienced riders, there will be much cheaper quotes.

I've not heard anything to suggest they would be a cheap insurer for non-IAM members, if anything, the fact I'd not heard of them until the thing from the IAM suggests to me they are likely to not be especially competitive.

edit: I believe they were so much cheaper (on what was already a good quote) because of the IAM membership- my complaint was based on my existing insurer not giving much of a discount for having done it.
