With a 1K miles, I think it's safe to say, it's not worn tyres

Now for actual reason
As said was going to used for the basis of a project. Nicked front tyre ages ago for other bike and and got a new Avon storm when it got MOT'd.
The rear is fine but loads of people are paranoid about mixing tyres so best to get them matched. If I were keeping it, I wouldn't change it .
