Hmmm. yes. But it is probably poor fueling... not enough of a smooth transition from no or little throttle to some.
(mention my bike again...) when I got it with standard chip it was a little rough like the SV but I chipped it and now its soooo smooth.
A PCIII I expect would sort it... Though I could be wrong.
