Very good advice.

When I was on my 50cc bike last year, wore textile jacket, lid, gloves (would have worn boots if the the sidestand didn't stick out too far ) and my old motocross pants with amour under them.
After getting absolutely soaked twice, I would always have waterproofs under the seat.
Until she's experienced getting very wet and cold, I don't think you'll be able to change her mind (sorry if I'm making false assumptions)


PS: It really ****s me off when people make sweeping generalisations about 16/17 year olds. I'd honestly say that I was a safer rider last year (at 16 Vic ) than a lot of car drivers.
