Some bikes seem to do that. My dads old BMW R1100RS was the same. Looked a little like \/ this lol.
At the moment mine isnt doing it though, I think its mostly down to doing lots of motorway miles to and from base so mine are wearing evenly. The front actually looks a little odd with how it is wearing because I dont get to the edge of the front. I presume you dont on your's either, the 70 profile dont seem to, the 60 on the SV though seemed to get to the edge fine.
