Default Re: Earphone repair

I use Sennheiser CX500s which I picked up for about £30 - they broke about a month ago and it was like losing a friend, but I found (my mum found) the receipt and curry's actually just replaced them no probs. They've got a year warranty each time I think, I would definitely recommend them if you don't want to go really expensive. After that though, I'd probably go for a pair of Shure E3cs, good all-round maybe could find for about £50-60, after that definitely Etymotic ER-4Ps which can be found for under £100, then definitely definitely Denon AH-C700 (which are £150 or so). After that, you're basically in the territory of diminishing returns, well, anything after the Etymotics and you'll struggle to tell the difference especially on the bike.
