I don't know their gloves, but I don't trust their leathers, they're made to look nice first and foremost. They're lovely to wear though... But then, what works for gloves doesn't always work for leathers, Furygan make great leathers but rotten gloves so maybe dainese make better gloves than leathers. Comfort and feel counts for a lot with gloves after all.
I suppose to be fair, I've never asked all that much of the other gear I've worn, dainese gear would almost certainly have done fine in all my crashes and would have been nicer to wear than most of it. So maybe a bit less safety naziism from me
But you can get really good gear, like Wolf or Furygan, that's as nice to wear and look at and also far tougher, sometimes for less.
