Me - started at Tescos in Shrewsbury, then A528/B4376 to Wem and on to Whitchurch, A495 to Ellesmere, A528/A539 to Ruabon and on to Llangollen, then up the Ponderosa. Howling gale up the Horseshoe Pass, not nice. Llangollen was rammed - lots of peeps on the steam railway and a lot of canoe folk on the River Dee - river was very high and lots of white water. Then back to Shrewsbury via Chirk, to avoid the high bridge on the A5 - I'm still terrified of high bridges

- I'm getting a lot better but my excuse today was the near hurricane blowing across north Wales

Bike was in pristine nick at the start, now looking rather sorry for itself.

Saw lots of bikes out but nobody I knew up the Pondy. Was somehow expecting to meet kwak but no dice.

Where've you been?
