Default Re: Should a tyre crack after 4500 miles?

A tyre can crack quite early in it's life if it's run at a very low pressure, or if it's left near flat for a while, (although this usually only causes cracking where it's distorted, ie; on the floor), assuming you've done neither of these, take it back to where you got it and point it out, if your concerns are realistic, (not to suggest you're wrong - simply that I can't see the tyre), the supplier should help you out.

If an SV650 has a flat tyre in the forest and no-one is there to blow it up, how long will it be 'til someone posts that the reg/rec is duff and the world will end unless a CBR unit is fitted? A little bit of knowledge = a dangerous thing.
