My experiences of A&E - admittedly not many - are never in response to "Emergency"
I can only echo what everyone else has said about getting it checked out Lissa, being on the bike can't be doing it a great deal of good and the last thing you want is some sort of lasting problem with it, especially over the coming months
Somehow, Pete's bike without Lissa riding it is like crackers without cheese - Gromit...
