I've just got home from flying kids to see Santa in Lapland, at 36000 feet the Northern Lights were spectacular tonight starting like a plume of smoke to the south of us and according to my colleague on the right side of the aircraft they were spiraling up to the north. It made a good day at work into an excellent day at work.
