This burn out you did, So long as you were not dragging the clutch whilst doing so, will have not effected the clutch at all.

How much? Depends if you need to replace the whole thing or just the plates.

i adjusted the cable at the leaver to take up the slack and loosened it and that had no change so im taking a shot in the dark that plates are worn?
