Not necessarily. But I would now check the wheel alignment properly.

My wheel is aligned. Done with a laser aligning tool. The plates read different to each other. I also know of pointy that suffered the same. The markers were exact on both sides but the rider complained of uneven balance from riding left corners to right corners. On checking the alignment his wheel was way off. After correct adjustment the markers were out but the issue resolved and the wheel running true.
