Just to add, may I suggest, get hold of an R6 throttle tube from your local yam dealer (cost me £7), then also do the R6 throttle mod at the same time (please no replies regarding does it / doesn't work etc)......these don't have silly trimable bits and are much easier to fit grips to. Plus keeps your standards clean and tidy in case you ever want to swap back or remove the heated grips prior to a sale.
