Then I'd fix my horn, check the forks, bleed the brakes again do a couple of heavy breaking tests to a point where you get them hot and cant feel any judder and they stop reliably.
Then take it back to the MOT guy look him straight in the eye and tell him you've fixed it.
BTW when braking hard and hot do not leave the calipers under pressure after you have stopped.
Let go and hold it on the rear.
