Firstly crack the front sprocket nut, with an assistant to stand on the back brake for you.

Then swap the stuff over...

To rivet the chain, you have a few options. Probably the easiest is to put a clip link on it, then take it to a pro to rivet it with a soft link.

Or you can peen a soft link over with a hammer to join it, but it is best to take it somewhere and have it done with a decent rivetter or borrow one.
