I got the legal cover but even though it was only £70 more for comp the excess went up to £650 compulsory and the quote was with £500 additional voulentary on it! Its criminal.

I do see your point as when i was 16 i got side swiped by an elderly driver on a roundabout on a moped and when he got out of the car his first words were 'are you OK young man? did you fall off on some oil?!' I had to use my legal cover to get a payout because he has no idea he had done anything wrong despite having a stoved in rear quarter pannel!
