As alluded to in my other thread (sorry mods for two threads, thought it was a different question but looks like it should have been in here), the battery in my curvy is, according to my haynes, the wrong one and is for a pointy. Does this matter and is it likely to have caused any problems in the charging system? I'm going to buy a one of the correct spec but was wondering if the pointy spec works better etc.

Can anyone shed some light?
