The damper rod seat is the white piece of plastis yes?
I'm guessing you have taken the damper rod out and it's stuck in the bottom of the tube?
If it is cover it with something soft and tap it out with a hammer or drift.

Careful when you put the forks back together as it will get stuck again if you let the fork sanction slide down too fast and you need that movement in the fork when setting your air gap.

I thinmk this makes sense.
