They can be a bit tight. I've got a pair on my SV1000 and one pulled out easily by hand, the other needed a bit of force using a pair of pliers on the end of the baffle. It shouldn't need loads of force to come out. Just a little twisting sideways and pulling out at the same time.
Unless they've changed the design, which I doubt. You should have just the one M6 (I think) bolt holding it in.
