Bibio reckons the GSXR1000 discs have a very slight negative dishing to them, 0.5mm cut taken off the hub-side.

For speedo just find a knackered or spare one, use that plug to connect the usual sort of hall effect sensor to the bike... hey presto, plug and play. Very easy to return to standard.
