Yeah it was the original chain, my method of hacksaw it off worked quite well! I got my chain and sprockets pretty cheap and think they should last a fairly long time so wasn't too worried about keeping the old one. where did you get yours from?
I will have to check them out when my insurance is due, its obvious that it was so cheap because of the bikes age
lol. I even had 2 years no claims on that, probably doesn't help that its outside and not in a garage though
