Some interesting replies here. I think the point is all parts could be classed as consumables if Suzuki felt they could get away with it. Think of that the next time you put your indicator on. I just feel that we get great service on our cars and an equally poor service from the bike makers and service centers because we do not have a large enough voice.
I also think they eventually lose out as the only thing that you can do to voice your discontent is remove your financial support as I will do when I buy a another bike.
