Because they used to own Cr@ppy little rusty Nova's and now they have a fast car
. It does make me laugh though.....sometimes I will accelerate at the same rate as them so they think they are keeping up, then when they turn to their mates and smile and point I turn back the thottle and leave them for dust. It happens all the time on the A34 bypass.
