You need to do this so the suspension is in play. That slack will be partially taken up when you remove it from the paddock stand.
Just a question for other thread readers. I've been playing with the tensioners to try and get the chain running evenly either side over the sprocket teeth. Anybody else bother much with this?

Will get that done, did it with the side stand on but no weight on the bike, I'll have another go at it tomorrow.
