Right I've just had another squint at the wiring diagram, I don't have a specific K5 diagram here at the mo, but if the colours are the same as the one I have got, (and I'm fairly sure they are), there are, as you say, seven wires all tolled in the block, they are; blue/black, blue, green, orange/yellow, orange/black, brown, light blue.
The brown is the live supply to the flasher - to the red wire on the new relay, the light blue is the connection to the switch, (the load), and goes to the black wire on the relay.
