Wheel spacers?
Working on Project British Rail again tonight (my rear wheel swap... Now delayed for so long that the strada rear tyre I threw on as a stopgap is almost completely worn out, so now i have to get the ball rolling before I buy another tyre...)
Anyway, I noticed something which I'd missed before... All the weight bearing spacers in this dymag wheel are aluminium. I thought that was basically a no-no? All the bearings were spaced down from 25mm for a 20mm axle, and it's all the original dymag kit. Is that sensible then? When I get my own made, could I do the same, or do you reckon it's some sort of wonder ally?
