Personal preference really.
I like curvies with lowers and pointies with bellypans.
Sticking lowers on an SV makes it look like you are trying to say "look at my sportsbike", which unfortunately while the SV is a great bike, that is one thing it isnt.
If you want something that looks like a Gixxer, get a Gixxer - otherwise, on a pointy anyway, show off that V-Twin Lump
