Yep, I understand most of his conviction was based on the word of a shop keep who basicly said 'yes he looks kind of like the man I sold the stuff to', who was trying to recall something from 10 years earlier.

Though at the end of the day the bombing was probably a response to the shooting down of a civil airbus by the American navy, the inquest into that was also a bit of a farce.
