You guys arn't too far off. I was amazed they quoted £450,
all in. If the driver has stopped and said I don't really want to go through insuarnce here's £50, I'd have been happy but my good I'd have been well out of pocket! I suppose a scratch is as good as it being totally broken and that will be the most it would cost because they are genuine parts and brand new.
Anyway I've reported to the police and insurnace company. The keeper is from Essex so I guess if he says I've never been to Louth in my life and don't knoow where it is, wasn't me gov I'll be a bit screwed
. Gonna check council CCTV and shop CCTV to see if it is of any use.
