Righto -
just returned from a brilliant rideout (On my own
) in the dusk/ dark. The route varied but my destination was Blackpool Prom and the Illuminations. One of the highlights included riding hard down a traffic free front at Lytham St Annes in the sunset/ dark. Had my visor up - sand dunes whipping past and my zorst giving a wicked soundtrack - my first true sense of freedom since I passed my test tbh.
So - Anyone up for a mission next week - weather permitting? Try and re create some of this magic ride I had tonight? Some really good clear A & B Roads from Preston > Blackpool - A cruise down the Illuminations/ Coffee break and then a fast pace back down some lit/ unlight roads?
