I think it's mostly aluminium and steel...
It's thin because the geometry was designed to be like a race bike, same as the 1098/848 ducatis
Daytona 675 is a sublime bike, but far too much for the road IMO, especially the island roads
If I were going to get a track bike I'd buy one though
