Well I ended up cutting the ******** off! But it turned out it had a square nut inside a box on the mount which was turning round hence not coming undone. No amount of prising would have helped although i did spend a good hour trying lol. A good day though got the exhaust off although snapped one stud and removed the other from the front cylinder. Now waiting for the bearing to be fitted then should have a very noticeable difference to the ride!
