Quite rightly so, cyclists shouldn't be on the pavement.
Unless it's one of these stupid cycle lanes that shares the pavement with pedestrians, in which case sometimes it can't be avoided due to bad design.
Cyclists have developed a tendency to ignore the rules and regs in recent years, such as riding at night with no lights, riding on pavements, running red lights, etc. Motorcyclists tend not to break those kind of rules. Motorcyclists do other things to annoy other roads users and get criticism for it and as a motorcyclist I accept that we bring it upon ourselves with some of our antics. Cyclists need to accept that they bring it upon themselves too and take the criticism on the chin.
