Many drivers at
this junction actually signal right when following the bend, because the majority of traffic goes left and doesn't signal, so traffic turning right out of the give way make assumptions and pull out across the front of you. People use a right signal to make it clear that they are NOT turning left, but going straight on round the bend.
The give way should actually be changed to suit the flow of the majority of traffic and make the straight on into a right turn.
