Cheers Mark.
That comment was superfluous really. It is start of the tropical wet and there is already flooding. When there is 2ft+ of water across the road every 20km or so it is hard to keep feet dry. When the temps are officially in the 40's and dry road temperatures are in the 60's or more, plastic bags, liners or whatever are out. My feet would end up pickled in sweat. Yes I choose wet feet over stewed feet, but I would prefer dry feet. When I go south, I simply suck it up if my feet get wet, but even heavy rain rarely troubles me. Those were more superfluous comments.

The point of that post was more about the drying method as per the thread subject line. When I pull my boots on I want them dry. A box with a good air flow, heated slightly (not hot) if temperatures are low, will dry boots quickly enough if the excess water is drained away.

Cheers
