Don't think that is the case with all Dukes TBH. The Multi's are supposed to be the do it all bike. Problem is that most dealers don't service them properly and the battery is a bit marginal on them too. The newer Dukes are better in their service time, although you do wonder how they suddenly just cut 50% off the time, so possibly there will be problems as the miles accrue. Our Duke goes to the dealer for a week as it's a two day job, but the aircooled may be better in that respect, plus the new Dukes are 7,500 miles between services I believe.
